missingWrote a review on Oct 12excellent locationtasty cuisinefun outdoor seatingtight parking
The location is excellent, right above the historic pump house and across from the lovely Valley Gardens, making it easy to explore local attractions. The Orchid restaurant shines with its focused Pan-Asian cuisine, offering a delightful dining experience and pleasant outdoor seating options.
My assessment of the standard double room revealed some drawbacks—the size felt cramped for two and was missing air conditioning, requiring us to sleep with the window open, which let in some outside noise. the room door took considerable effort to close quietly, a nuisance for the neighboring guests. Lastly, the parking situation was tight, which could pose challenges if you're driving a larger vehicle.

the staff were exceptional, especially etienne who greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. the executive room was really comfy and clean. breakfast had a great selection and the food at the orchid was just amazin. loved the location, super close to the town centre. check-in was super quick and easy.
the bathroom had an awful smell on our last day, which was really off-putting. the parking situation was also a bit limited and tricky for larger cars.

Centrally located with a charming bar area and attentive staff made for an enjoyable stay. The executive room had beautiful touches like air conditioning and a spacious layout, ideal for a couple. the bathroom was cramped with sloping ceilings, leading to awkward spaces. the room's decor felt somewhat dated, and the broken wardrobe door was inconvenient. Breakfast offered a good range, but options for dietary restrictions were limited.

Great stay with comfy vibes
I had a fab 2 nights here. The location is super central which was perfect for wandering around! Room was cozy, but there were a couple of little issues that could've been fixed beforehand. The breakfast was on point. loved the selection! A handy little car park at the back was a plus but at £12, it adds up. good experience!

Couple looking for comfort
We had a very comfy mattress and great pillows which made sleep close to perfect. The bathroom was well-designed with a walk-in shower that was a real treat after long days.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still reasonable for what we got.

I enjoyed the warm and welcoming staff at The Studley. They were really accommodating, making sure all my requests were met. The location impressed me. it's right in the heart of Harrogate, close to lots of shops and eateries. The room was modern and had a nice kitchenette, which was a huge plus. Unfortunately, the lift was out of order during my stay, and it was inconvenient having to climb the stairs with luggage. Some of the floor carpeting was worn, and I noticed a few lights in the room didn’t work. The bathroom, while recently renovated, had some quirks—like the motion-sensor lights which often turned on at odd times. Breakfast was okay, but don’t expect too much if you have specific dietary needs. I appreciated the overall design of the hotel, but some areas could definitely use a little more attention to detail.
